It is rare to see someone explain statistics with such passion as Prof. Dr. Lisa Harlow. Using vivid language, plenty of examples, lovely metaphors and useful tutorials we’ve spent the past two days going through multiple regression, logistical regression, anova, ancova, manova, mancova, and factor analysis.
We’ve debated formative and reflective models, discussed confidence intervals, reliability, validity, significance, etas, r squares, chi values, cronbach’s alphas, eigenvalues, correlation matrixes, and almost anything else you can imagine.
It’s been an intense couple of days but luckily we all have a clearer understanding of statistics, and the mystique of it is slowly disappearing. It’s just similarities and differences at macro, mid or micro levels.
If you come across more questions when running your analysis, feel free to look over the slides and the book again for detailed answers. The slides will be available on the PhD portal as well.
